Duval Roofing has installed more than 7,000 roofs north of Boston since 1991. The home in downtown Peabody pictured above ranked as one of the most challenging roof replacements.
The original wood-cedar shakes were removed to open strapping. There was no decking on the roof, so plywood was installed throughout. Because the wood shakes left a giant unsightly gap at all the sidewalls after they were removed, new copper was cut in on all the masonry. The dormer windows required new siding: copper siding for the front where it is most visible, new cedar on the remaining.
Despite its complexity, this roofing job took two days start to finish, with no hidden or extra costs, in keeping with our customer service promises to you.
